Aquamarine and Sterling Silver Hammered Heart Necklace Handmade

Aquamarine is such a pretty coloured stone, so feminine and it looks gorgeous mixed with sterling silver in this necklace. I have hand knotted the necklace in the traditional way and covered the knots with 3mm silver balls. The heart measures 2.5cm or 1 in length and has been hand drawn and sawn from sterling silver sheet. I hammered the heart to create multiple surfaces which give a gloriously loved look and catch the light when you wear the necklace. I struggle sometimes to do up traditional hooks having long hair which gets in the way, so I have used a magnetic sterling silver clasp which is so easy to use. A really gorgeous statement piece of jewellery combining traditional techniques with contemporary design. Absolutely perfect for Spring and Summer!
